Typically where I have seen this particular error in the past, the issue was resolved by a reload of the ASA.  Are you still able to access the ASA by other means such as telnet or SSH?  What version of ASDM and ASA are you using?

I am not able to access the ASA via any means. Version of ASDM and ASA : 6.3 and 8.3

I will do a reload in a moment and give you a feedback.

503 Service Unavailable

The server is currently unavailable (because it is overloaded or down for maintenance

Generally, this is a temporary state.

Thanks all. The ASA is back. Though I  did not do  anything to it.

What I noticed is that the problem occurs whenever I experience the attached error. i.e. when the I tried to configure 'customization'.

So I am now trying to understand why the 'customization' freezes.
