This is for information only. We had a user would could not get VPN Client to work proerly on their Windows 7 64bit machine.

It would take many minutes for the gui to load and when trying to connect it would basically freeze up. We discovered shutting down the service that the Carbonite remote backup program installs allowed the VPN client to function normally.

I dropped Carbonite and started using Crash Plan so my VPN could be used.  Then later I upgraded from 5mbps DSL to 50mbps.  Later I reloaded Carbonite and started using it because I like it better than Crash Plan.  I tried the VPN with Crash Plan and Carbonite running and it works now!  I have no idea why but I'm not complaining!
