Bandwidth Limiting

Hi All,

I am facing with issue with the bandwidth . We have various project who have remote vpn. Users are logging in the customer network and downloading unwanted thing which is crossing the bandwith and creating issue with the other project. Can you set the bandwidth to 512 kb to those connection.

Need your help on urgent basis as we can not ask the client to restict the users for accessing their browsing link.

You can do this using Quality of Service (QoS) policing. Please refer to the following article:

You ned to be able to define the users you want to restrict with an access-list. Easiest is if they are all on a certain IP network (e.g the vpnpool).

If you have an ASA running 8.4 or later software you can use the identity firewall features to create an object-group of users in your access-list. Reference:
