Hi I can access Anyconnect through "AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client" but not https. When I try to access the ASA by https, I got that screenshot. Please see the screenshot in attachment. So what is the reason for that "Web-based installation was unsuccessful"? Thank you

HTTPS provides automatic installation for the first time so you can download and install anyconnect by connecting to headend device over https. It may have been unsuccessful due to Java issue on your computer. You can download manually as suggested in that screenshot and continue using anyconnect using the client software.

Most recent Chrome browsers will not allow the AnyConnect package Java-based detection / installation routine to succeed.
If you browse to your ASA using IE, there is an ActiveX setup that will at least give you the option of allowing it to run.
(Or do as Puneesh suggested).

Yes, you are right. After using IE, it can work.
My question is after using IE and clicking some buttons to get some permit, I got confirmation(please see attachment). Why it show "Anyconnect Security Mobility Client has successfully connected" ?
I also see there is connection icon of anyconnect at the righ bottom corner of my computer
This means clientless is connected ? Thank you
If I use Chrome, I cannot get the result

Whether your connection is clientless or client-based depends on how the protocols are setup in the group-policy section of the ASA. Look for a line like:
vpn-tunnel-protocol ikev1 l2tp-ipsec ssl-client ssl-clientless
