Can't Install AnyConnect

I currently cannot get the  AnyConnect program downloaded on my MacBook Pro. I previously had it downloaded and connected Properly, but earlier this week it suddenly unmapped the drives I had connected to the VPN. I then uninstalled AnyConnect and when I go to reinstall it it says that it is already installed. I cannot find the program anywhere on my laptop.

Hi,

You have two options, GUI or CLI, see which one works:

            1. GUI. Go to Applications folder --> Cisco--> and choose Unistall, reload, try re-installing it.

            2. CLI. Open a terminal window, type the following command "sudo pkgutil --forget com.cisco.pkg.anyconnect.vpn" ,reload, try re-installing it.

What do I do if Cisco is not even an option in the Applications folder?

Have you tried running the command?

No, how do I do that?

Hi,

Open a MAC OS terminal and use this command "sudo pkgutil --forget com.cisco.pkg.anyconnect.vpn".

Cristian Matei.
