I seem to be having a weird issue where I am able to assign an ip address from a local pool if it is part of a different subnet than the inside interface. But if I try to create a pool where i use a portion of the subnet that is on the same subnet as the inside interface it doesnt work.
So for example if the inside interface is 10.5.1.250
The local pool can be created as 10.5.2.1-254.
It works fine.
If the inside interface is 10.5.1.250
The local pool is 10.5.1.1-200
It doesn't work.
We already have a concentrator that has a similar setup that works fine and both of them are identically configured with the exception of a couple of Lan to Lan tunnels that are a bit different.
Any ideas on where i should look?
