Hello, I have two questions.

1. Which types of  certificate authority are supported by Cisco ASA 5505 ?

2. How VPNs influence total delays of traffic (SSL, IPSec, L2TP/IPSec) ?

1. Any CA that you want to use. There are no preconfigured you have to configure all settings based on your needs.
2. There is a processing delay for the crypto operations, but these are done in hardware and are probably not relevant in your end-to-end delay budget. But if you are concerned about performance, you shouldn't use the outdated 5505, a device that has less processing-power than a 50$ smartphone ...
