Cisco 1921 version 15.5 (3)M7 & 15.(3)M2 has no SNMP-server ethernet

Hello Community,

I am currently running Cisco 1921 version 15.5(3) M7 & 15.(3)M2 and in snmp-server enable traps command I dont have option to select ethernet, gdoi, firewall, ike, ipsec?

Any suggestion, or I am missing some thing.

Hi,

In my lab I have a 1921 running 15.6(3)M2 and I can enable those traps. The command is snmp-server enable traps ...... if this is still not available in your version, probably an upgrade will be required.

I tried that but it is not showing me option.

Even I tried updated to 15.7 still not showing up. I am not sure if it is something to do with config or router it self.

Just checking, but are you sure you are using the command "snmp-server enable traps"? You can also enter the command "snmp-server traps" but that doesn't give you the options.

What license do you have on your router? I have the Security license, that maybe why I can see the ipsec, gdoi, ike etc traps.
