Hi,
Is the VPN session established over another medium, like WiFi or 4/5G? Did you also install the NAM module of AnyConnect? If so, NAM, by default, allows one single link on the device to be active, for security purposes. The easy way to fix this is to uninstall the NAM module. If you need the NAM module, but still want to fix the problem, go to your Ethernet NIC settings and uncheck the "Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager Filter Driver". By disabling this, you'll make the NAM module not be aware of that NIC, so you'll never be able to use NAM for 802.1x for that NIC.
Regards,
Cristian Matei.

Hi, when you say the ethernet shuts down, how do you mean?
Do you have access to services at work, but no access to devices on your local network?
If so, it sounds like 'local LAN access' haven't been configured on the firewall which you're connecting to.
