Hey guys,
I tried to install cisco anyconnect on Mac with 64-bit kernel but failed. The problem is that TUN.KEXT from Cisco is a 32-bit kernel extension which is not compatible with 64-bit kernel that my Mac runs with.
Has anyone come across this issue before?
One possibility for me is to boot Mac from 32-bit kernel, but I do not want to do this because it affects the performance.
Thanks in advance,
Bohan

What Anyconnect version are you running?
Was AC working on this mac or is it a new install?

Thanks for you reply.
This is a new install. I tried installing AC on my friend's mac which runs 32-bit kernel without any problem.
I went to my company's vpn website to download AC so it should be the latest version.

Could you find out which version in particular you're trying to install?
By latest do you mean latest 2.5 or latest 3.0?
Can you try installing 2.5.2019?
Thanks,
Rob

The version I tried to install is 2.3. Sorry for the confusion.
I download this from our company's vpn website so it seems to be the only version available there. Is it possible to download it for free from Cisco website instead? If so, could you please send me the link?
Thank you,
Bohan

You can try 2.5.2019.
Search for the following from cisco.com and it should take you to the download page.
anyconnect-macosx-i386-2.5.2019-k9.dmg
You may want to use this version on your ASA instead of the 2.3 version going forward.
I'm not sure if you can get this for free without a service contract.
