AnyConnect Secure Mobility client is Cisco's client device software used to establish connections to remote access VPNs (Virtual Private Networks using SSL or IPSec IKEv2). It also has the optional capability to perform various other features such as 802.1x supplicant, endpoint posture assessment etc. - features more or less (though not exclusively) associated with the VPN client function. It is available for Windows, OS X, Linux, iOS and Android cleints.
Please refer to the product page for overview information and product support area for Anyconnect for more details.

You're welcome.
Cisco VPN client for Windows (and Mac OS X and Solaris and Linux) is a legacy product that is now end-of-sales. It is the client software that is also used to terminate remote access VPN connections (IPSec IKEv1 type only). It's still in use by many organizations but is increasingly difficult to support as newer client OSs are released that the legacy VPN client was not designed to support.
