Cisco ASA Anyconnect configuration backup.

Folks,

How best can we get a backup done for the Anyconnect nodes? The basic configuration is fine as a output of the show runnning file is sufficent. My question is more on the DAP policies side. These are not stored in the show running.

Hi,

    I would suggest you to take a complete backup from ASDM (Tools-->Backup configuration in ASDM) which includes all configurations including DAP, certificates. If you prefer to take the backup of DAP configuration, you need to take the backup of DAP.XML file which is located in disk0:.

In addition to what Kannan said, there is also a cli backup command introduced around ASA 9.3 ( if I recall correctly) which allows you to make a complete backup including DAP, AnyConnect profiles, certificates etc..
