Cisco Concentrator - user authentication with LDAP

We want to authenticate and authorize users via LDAP. It is possible to configure the LDAP server for authorization, but not for authentication.

My question is now, do i need an additional authentication server (for example RADIUS) if i want to authorize the users via a LDAP server ?

Yes, currently the VPN concentrator does not support authentication as you rightly said. You need an authentication server in the middle to take care of your authentication.
