Cisco IPSec and Juniper Conflict

We are having an issue when connecting to a VM using our Cisco IPSec VPN connection.  Here is the scenario:

1.) Connect to the office using Cisco VPN Client version 5.0.06.0160
2.) Use a remote desktop connection to connect to a VM
3.) Once on the VM you connect to a client network that uses Juniper Network Connect version 7.0.0

The instant that the Juniper VPN connects to the client network we lose connectivity to the VM.  The VM is still running and the client VPN is connected but you can't get back in to that VM.  We do have an old Microsoft RAS that we can use to VPN in the office and it does not have this issue.

Any ideas as to why the Cisco and Juniper VPNs do not play well?

Thank you

Can you check if Juniper VPN will tunnel all traffic without split-tunnel enabled?

If yes, when Juniper VPN is up on VM, VM can not communicate to Cisco VPN client any more since all traffic will be sent to Juniper VPN headend.

You can enable something like split-tunnel feature on Juniper VPN box so that VM will only send traffic to the client network via Juniper VPN.
