I have a RV130W. I am trying to get my Mac to VPN to it. PPTP seemed to work using Shimo for a while until the upgrade to Catalina. Now I need a new option coz PPTP on Shimo for Catalina isn't supported.
Is Cisco IPSec is different than regular IPSec? Coz the Mac built in VPN Client doesn't seem to connect to it.
What are you guys doing for Client-to-Server VPN connections using a Mac?
Should I be looking at any particular Mac software for Catalina? Is there a software developed by Cisco for the Mac to connect to their routers?
I have a Static IP from my ISP and the modem is in bridge mode allowing full control to the RV130W so there isn't anything upstream blocking anything.
Anyone have example Mac configurations to help?
