Cisco secure client error: Authentication failed due to a problem navigating to the single sign-on URL.

Any suggestions on how to fix this error?

Hey @Jaguar2026

This points to an issue with the SAML/SSO redirect prior to the VPN establishing. A few things to check:

1. Is the device clock synced with an NTP server?

2. Is the default browser (embedded browser) blocked or disabled by a SIG?

3. Is there any interception of the traffic between device and SSO portal? Could it be blocked in Umbrella/Secure Access/another SIG?

4. Is the SSO portal URL correct?

5. Any chance pop-ups are blocked in the browser?

If you check all of that and it still isn't working, then we will have to go deeper into the problem.

Good luck!
