Hi to one and all,

I have a small office network with 4 workstations Win_2000 and 1 Server NT4_SERVER. They access the Internet through a Cisco 837 A.D.S.L Router that sits on the network.1 static IP>>>>>83.71.*.*

The thing is i need to access my office P.C. from my home P.C. using remote software ie "V.N.C" or "P.C.Anywhere", My home computer uses XP pro, and i have internet access through an Netopia 3317 A.D.S.L. modem/router on dynamic IP.

How would i go about making such a connection from home.

The Cisco router pretty much has a default setup except for The one Wan IP and a Lan gateway IP i put on>>>>172.10.*.* and user/password, everything else is pretty much as it was as i configured it through the cwrs.

It is very easy to setup the router and to configure, map the (ip address of the office PC and the port no of VNC connector) to the router public ip addres with any static port number. If you access the router public ip address from th home pc, it will automatically transfer to office pc's VNC connector, because of you mapping in router.
