Cisco VPN annyconnect client not working on Ubuntu

I have installed cisco vpn anyconnect-linux64 client version 3.1 and also tried 4.6 and 4.7 on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS but getting the same error "The AnyConnect package on the secure gateway could not be located. You may be experiencing network connectivity issues. Please try connecting again."anyconnect-error. using this package file on VPN server anyconnect-linux-3.1.03103-k9.pkg my VPN credentials are perfectly working on the windows machine with cisco anyconnect win664 4.8 version.please help to fix the issue on Ubuntu. Thanks in Advance!!!

Hi,

 

Can you please use a newer package on ASA for linux users ? 3.X has been EOL for many years now.

 

Here is a doc I wrote for steps required on ASA and linux client for cert auth but you can skip that part and make sure the devices are configured correctly.

Hi,

You need to upload the anyconnect package on your ASA/FTD for this to work.
The message is saying that you don't have the package uploaded. This is
needed to be uploaded and configured as anyconnect image otherwise won't be
able to connect (even if you install the agent offline).
