Cisco VPN client with Norton Internet Security

VPN client v4.7 with Norton Internet Security 2004. I have configured NIS to allow the VPN client unlimited access to the internet.

After establishing the connection I am unable to ping any device or map any drives within the remote network. If I establish the VPN connection, disable NIS, map the drive, then enable NIS all is well and functions correctly.

Does anybody have any ideas of what configurations I may need to tweak within NIS to make it work correctly?

You have mentioned that you are not able to ping any devices withi the remote network after NIS is enabled.

So, first can you send me the configurations you have applied in your NIS?. I will look into it for any corrections
