I would start by reexamining the vpn concentrator and Checkpoint configurations. Did any device have an interface ip address change? Was the concentrator and/or checkpoint device code not saved and then a reboot happened that caused the ipsec config info to disappear? Did someone accidentally turn-off site-to-site vpn functionality on any device (i.e., the tunnel type on the concentrator changed from lan-to-lan to remote-access)?
