On my Employer supplied Macbook Pro, I'm running AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client version 4.10.03104 on macOs Monterey. I have admin privileges on this computer, but not on the VPN server. I often have about a dozen different terminals with ssh sessions to servers I administer. Whenever my screen sleeps the VPN drops the connection and all my sessions get interrupted. Is there a way to configure the AnyConnect Client to stay connected while the screen is sleeping?

Why not adjust MAC not to go sleep, when the device go sleep depends on the setting it disconnects Ethernet, that is go sleep.

If only I could. My employer implements a centralized policy management system (Jamf) that pushes out settings like maximum inactivity before sleeping and locking the screen. Even with local admin privileges, I can't override those settings. And I'm not sure I'd want to anyhow. There are legitimate reasons for not leaving the screen on and unlocked when I'm away.

Is there a setting in the AnyConnect Client or elsewhere on my Mac that I can tweak to keep the VPN alive when my screen sleeps? Is there something on the VPN server that can be adjusted?

locking screen vs going sleep 2 different. if only lock screen VPN will not disconnect.
If the sleep mode and turn off ethernet and wifi, that where you losing VPN, ask your system admin to fix this.
