Configuring Cisco ASA for MCI

I have a question on configuring Cisco ASA with multiple certs. I am new to configuring MCI to cisco ASA
For the identity Certificate on the same appliance, we generated CSR and generated the pkcs12 certificate outside the ASA appliance.

My question is for multiple certificate(cert apart from Identity Cert) do we use the same CSR generated outside the appliance, or generate a new CSR inside the appliance. This cert will be installed on end point devices to access VPN.
