Hello all,
I have question related to configuration of
D-channel(ISDN line PRI).
I know that over one ISDN PRI line there is one D-channel (signalization ch.)
So why I need configure interface dialer?
Why I simply configure only interface serial1/0:15
(PRI/E1).?
Could someone explain me what reason is dialer interface for?

This is to given every B-channel the same configuration , like speed authentication etc.
The below document can explain this

If all the connections terminating on the PRI are ISDN then you do not need to configure dialer interfaces.
If you are using modems you need to create a async or group async interfaces.
If you want a more flexible and scalable configuration dialer interfaces are the way to go.
