I am using Cisco Secure Client 5.1.1.42 in an environment that has Windows 11 workstations. I have configured the Cisco Secure Client to use SBL for my VPN option to give my users the ability to connect to the VPN before logging into their workstations with cached credentials. The VPN is successfully establishing a connect and their access to network resources is working fine.
The problem that I am running into is the the Domain Controller is not seeing the user login and therefore they are not receiving their startup policies via Active Directory. That said, I thought that the purpose of SBL would prevent this problem from happening. Does anyone know how to make this work or why I am having this issue?
Also, in a non-VPN environment, how do users receive their policies if they are not even connected to the network.
