hi

i have some problems with my dial backup the router makes the call but i get a message like this:

Nov 7 21:18:07.051: 10.28.1.1/32 via 0.0.0.0 in 3 hops

Nov 7 21:18:07.051: 172.25.4.43/32 via 0.0.0.0 in 16 hops (inaccessible)

Nov 7 21:18:07.051: 10.52.7.0/24 via 0.0.0.0 in 16 hops (inaccessible)

Nov 7 21:18:07.051: 10.255.6.0/29 via 0.0.0.0 in 16 hops (inaccessible)

Nov 7 21:18:07.051: 10.28.144.0/20 via 0.0.0.0 in 3 hops

i dont know why this routers uses for his primary conection ospf, he knows all his neigborg by OSPF and works ok. when the primary conection fails it makes a call DDR, he conect using eigrp it is redistributed using RIP v2 because is pass from a AS53500, to a router motorola to a switch 4500 series cisco.

From the routers that fails i get to all the network, but inside the network i cant get to the router, is a little complicated but i hope to someone help me.

Looks as if RIP is detecting a loop somewhere.

These routes suggest poison reverse;

Nov 7 21:18:07.051: 172.25.4.43/32 via 0.0.0.0 in 16 hops (inaccessible)

Nov 7 21:18:07.051: 10.52.7.0/24 via 0.0.0.0 in 16 hops (inaccessible)

Nov 7 21:18:07.051: 10.255.6.0/29 via 0.0.0.0 in 16 hops (inaccessible)

hope that helps,

Andres

thanks for your answers.

but how can i check for this loops i make traceroute from the AS5350 to the host its arrive good, but if i try to do the same from the host it doesnot arrive to the lan 10.52.7.0/24.

sorry, those networks are:

172.25.4.43 ip that the remote router take from the as5350 when it makes the call.

10.52.7.0 teh lan of the remote host

10.255.6.0 the wan of the remote host.
