Detect VPN connection from a command prompt?

All users in our domain (NT4) run a login script when they login. We are about to pilot VPN remote access (Cisco VPN 3.03 to a Cisco 3000 VPN concentrator). We perform certain tasks in the login script that we don't necessarily want to perform on a computer accessing our network via VPN. The question is whether there is a way to detect in a login script whether the client is logging in via a VPN connection (and then to skip parts of the login script). Any help would be very much appreciated.

I've answered my own question... vpnclient.exe (installed in the Cisco VPN Client program directory) exits errorlevels when it executes. Errorlevel 200 and above means you're connected. Below 200 and you're not.
