We are in the midst of deploying a new Cisco wireless network using WLC 5520s and Cisco ISE.
We are utilizing dynamic vlan assignment via dot1x. We struggled to get this to work in our test environment until we disabled the Deterministic Network Enhancer (DNE) option on the wireless adapter. No problem.
However, last night one of our remote access vpn users reported a problem with their vpn connection. Turns out the DNE, which is installed as a part of the Cisco VPN Client v5.0.07.290, was disabled on this laptop and prevented communications over the vpn.
My question is, is there a way to have both functions working on the laptop without enabling and disabling DNE everytime?
Thanks in advance.
John
