Dial interface reset

Hi

I have a problem where users are trying to dial in, but when the async interface comes up it shows interface reset. The async then immediately goes to down again:

*Nov 6 14:45:21: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Async0/1/0, changed state to down

*Nov 6 14:45:25: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Async0/1/0, changed state to down

Nothing was changed on the config side of the router.

What could be the problem?

From the user side, the modem dials, get the handshake, verify username and password and then when it gets to registering computer on the network, the connection drops. I had the line checked out and it is clean, ie no noise on the line.

I would also like to ask where I can get modemcap strings for the router? I see there is a basic modemcap string "&F1S02".

Any help/suggestions will be much appreciated.
