Dialer Pool with PRI and BRI

Dialer pool - Each dialer interface is a member of a single dialer pool; the pool is a group of one or more physical interfaces. There can be any combination of interfaces (asynchronous, ISDN, serial) within a pool.

Anyone have a successful deployment to configure 1 ISDN-PRI-T1 and 4 ISDN BRIs into same dialer pool such that to provide ~2Mbps backup link?

Hi There,

Yes, I have done this, albiet some time ago. Put all your interfaces in the same dialer-pool, and run multilink on the interface that will bind them all together (ie: dialer1)

Be aware, however, that pulling together that many B-channels on a low end platform might be pretty processor intensive on an older IOS where it might all be process switched.
