Digital MICA modems.

Hi all,

could someone give me advice

how could I decrease time to

clients which connect to our RAS (3640).

RAS is installed with digital MICA modems .

It takes about 1 min. for remote user to connect to our service through MICA modem.

Should I configure some S registers to

speed up this. If yes, which?

Hello,

the default time for the modem to answer the call is 2 seconds, so unless you changed that value, there might be something else wrong with your modem settings, or with the users connecting. Can you post the configuration of your 3640 ?

can you do a ' debug modem' and a ' debug isdn q931' and post the results ? Which modems are the dialin users using ?
