DMVPN (Question) Confuse

Hi Dear   

My question is, when i want to run DMVPN on hub and spoke area, if one side have transport mode means hub, i should put another site the same as a transport mode means on spoke.?

And also i wanna know, on dmvpn hub and spoke i should always run transport mode or this is option?

Hi,

Rule of thumb says you should use transport mode, it's a bit more efficent.

Cisco devices are smart enough to detect where transport mode is applicable and fallback to tunnel mode when needed.

For DMVPN it's always best practice to use transport mode.
