DNS Resolution for IPSec Peer

OK, so I'm trying to do this:

...with the -- 'set peer hostname.com dynamic'

But the version of IOS I'm running does not support the 'dynamic' feature. So it will only look up the host once and if the IP changes, then that's no good. There's a way to do this, but I can't find it. Anyone???

I'm afraid the "way to do this" is to upgrade to a code version that does support the feature, namely 12.3(4)T or any 12.4 Mainline code.

Really??? :( Bummer. I could have sworn that there was a longer way of doing this.

Grrrr. Well -- if anyone has any ideas, let me know. I'd still rather not upgrade just for this one item.
