I recently generated a CSR and got a identify cert for our any connect VPN. I got a CA cert that came with it also. Is this really needs and if so can you explain why?
The CA certificate is used by the ASA to show and trust the chain of issuance back to the root CA.
It should be installed on the ASA but is not bound to any interfaces.
