EasyVPN vs site-to-site IPsec

Hi Guys,

I have been doing IPsec VPN for while but I am still new to EasyVPN.

This is a good link to study what about EasyVPN.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/iosswrel/ps6537/ps6586/ps6635/ps6659/eprod_qas0900aecd805358e0.html

But I am still confuse on the Easy VPN mode:

Client mode, network extension , extension plus.

What I read and underderstand is, in extension mode, The server will lease a Logical IP to the host behind the easyvpn client router ? regardless the logical IP and the physical IP of device is under same subnet? Can I understand like a 1 to 1 NATting?

How would it effect on IP phone registration to UC/CME? If my assumption was correct, there will be little bit tricky while we do troubleshooting on the end host while their real IP might not the logical IP.....

Shall I try to recommend easyVPN or Site to Site VPN for a data + voice network?

Base on the cisco datasheet, it sound like a easy implement version of IPsec Site to site VPN. What is the exact difference for this two technologies beside configuration and proprietary ?

Thanks for your time.

Hi KS,

Please check the below Doc

EZVPN network ext mode

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080808395.shtml?referring_site=smartnavRD

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/products_configuration_example09186a00805c5ad9.shtml?referring_site=smartnavRD

EZVPN client mode

if you have data and voice network site to site will be ideal setup.
