Cisco VPN Client was successfully installed on win 7
However, when executing the Client an error -51 is returned stating "Error 51: Unable to communicate with the VPN subsystem".
please give me a solution.

Hi Rasbihari,
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1) Verify if you have a mcafee firewall or other one enabled. Please uninstall them completely
2) Manually uninstall the cisco client. Also if there are any other vpn clients from other vendors, uninstall them
as well.
3) Make sure windows firewall and/or any anti-virus utility programs are disabled. You may re-enable them after the installation has completed.
3) Make sure ICS (internet connection sharing) is disabled. You can find this under control panel and services. If it's running, disable it.
4) Reboot the system, allow it to automatically detect your network cards and re-install the drivers for them.
5) re-ensure that all anti-virus/firewall applications are disabled
6) re-install the cisco client

Hi Itzcoatl, thanks for your respond and sharing, but what if is a Corporation Computer, In which cannot disable the Antivirus, or usually they get this error message when they at home or outside the Corporation. How do we fix this Issue?
