Hi Rasbihari,

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1) Verify if you have a mcafee firewall or other one enabled. Please uninstall them completely

2) Manually uninstall the cisco client.   Also if there are any other vpn clients from other vendors, uninstall them

as well.

3) Make sure windows firewall and/or any anti-virus utility programs are  disabled.  You may re-enable them after the installation has completed.

3)  Make sure ICS (internet connection sharing) is disabled.  You can find this under control panel and services.  If it's running, disable it.

4) Reboot the system, allow it to automatically detect your network cards  and re-install the drivers for them.

5) re-ensure that all anti-virus/firewall applications are disabled

6) re-install the cisco client

I hope this helps,

regards,

Itzcoatl
