We've had non-stopped errors on nearly all of our company laptops for many, many months and my corporate office wants me to get to the root cause and see if we can fix this issue and stop the Cisco ERRORS and WARNING from appearing in our Applicaiton and Services Logs. The source of these repeat WARNINGS and ERRORS is acvpnplap and acvpnagent:
Event 1, acvpnplap
Function: PreferenceMgr::invokePreferenceUpdateCBs
File: c:\temp\build\thehoff\phoenix_mr50.209236130437\phoenix_mr5\vpn\api\preferencemgr.cpp
Line: 1671
callback interface address is null.
and this error is preceded by:
Event 2, acvpnplap
Function: MSSaxErrorHandlerImpl::fatalError
File: c:\temp\build\thehoff\phoenix_mr50.209236130437\phoenix_mr5\vpn\common\xml\mssaxerrorhandlerimpl.cpp
Line: 41
Invoked Function: ISAXXMLReader::parse
Return Code: -1072897499 (0xC00CE225)
Description: WINDOWS_ERROR_CODE
XML Parser fatal error: Validate failed.
I've searched the Internet trying to find a clue as to why nearly all of our company laptops seem to be repeating these errors over and over in their event logs, but I can't seem to find a solution or answer. I'm open to suggestions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ted Walker

Just one more note. Even after a clean reboot, the Application and Services Logs for the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client immediately fill with Error and Warning messages, but the strange thing is that the Cisco AnyConnect client itself is working just fine. I'm able to connect and work with no issues or error messages.
Is this just something that commonly happens within the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client on all computer everywhere and I should just ignore and live with these error and warning messages?
I would really appreciate it if another Cisco AnyConnect user out there would take a look at their own Event Viewer service logs for Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and tell me if they also get a lot of error and warning messages that don't affect performance or operation of the client.
Ultimately, the reason I want to fix (get rid of) these error and warning messages is not because we are actually experiencing any problems with the Cisco AnyConnect client (it's working just fine to connect and use), it's because we use a central monitoring system that tracks and monitors all of our company network equipment and computers (called Lansweeper), and the remote Event log viewer portion of the utility is constantly flooded with these Cisco errors to the point of making it a useless feature for us. I wouldn't mind finding out that it's just common and expected for the Cisco AnyConnect event log to fill up with useless errors and that there is nothing that Cisco can do about it. At least I would have something to tell upper administration about this overflow of useless error messages.
Thanks,
Ted Walker

Unfortunately this is not configurable and the Error and Warning messages you see are typical for both AnyConnect 4.x as well as Secure Client 5.x. I verified the same on two separate computers that also have perfectly working Secure Client installed - both with and without multiple modules in addition to the Core and VPN bits.
There is a longstanding ENH (enhancement) bug to address this issue, but it's been in existence for over 10 years so it's pretty clear Cisco doesn't see it as a priority. Reference: https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuc67175

FYI, Lansweeper 10.2.3 ~200 Laptops and 44% of events is from acvpnagent. Anyconnect is working fine as far as I know.
