I have a site to site vpn link. From one side you can search for devices on the other side by ip address but once found no connection to any shared folders can be made. All ideas gratefully accepted.
just wondering if you can access it by using the ip.
assuming you were browsing the company name before, it wouldn't work. the reason being the name/ip translation relies on broadcast, and broadcast will not be encrypted/sent via the ipsec vpn.
