I'm currently setting up a VPN to Azure that will be used as a backup for an Expressroute. My plan is to configure an inbound/outbound route-map on the BGP peer to apply AS-Path prepending to both sent and received routes to ensure that the VPN path is less preferred during normal operation (the FTD peers BGP to our core which will see the longer AS path).
I'm yet to test this, but I wanted to check if the FTD supports AS-Path prepending on an inbound route-map or if its outbound only?

The doc doesnt directly state that AS path prepending is supported on the inbound direction, but it actually provides an example configuration of this under section 'Configure BGP AS Path Prepend' which implies that it does. Thanks, Mark
