Hi,
I am having trouble installing Cisco Systems VPN Client 5.0.07.0440 on a Windows 7 64-bit laptop. I have attached a screenshot showing the error I receive when I try to install it. I tried the 2 things I have listed below (found them online), but neither resolved the issue. If you have any suggestions/thoughts, they are greatly appreciated. I have never posted anything on here, so if I post it in the wrong section, my apologies. Thank you.
1. Tried a registry hack -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\MaxNumFilters
Default is 8, maximum is 14.
2. Tried running this - cd %systemroot%system32regsvr32 /u dneinobj.dll & C:\Windows\system32\regsvr32 /u C:\Windows\system32\dneinobj.dll

This could be related to something else that has installed a network shim in the stack.
Try uninstalling anything else that may have installed a shim, like third party firewalls, antivirus, etc.

Thank you for the response Philip. The user with the issue is offsite at a customer site, so I wont be able to try what you recommended until sometime next week. I will let you know if it works.
Thank you,
Kevin
