Hi there!
I want to know, for how many times in seconds, the crypto session become active between to cisco routers in site-to-site vpn.

For example:
Site01:
Public IP: 1.1.1.1

LANSite02: 192.168.1.1

Site02:

Public IP: 1.1.1.2

LANSite02: 192.168.2.1

there are created site-to-site vpn between these two routers, with preshared key, and now i need to know the time that from a pc in site01, is send ping request for a PC in site02.

how many seconds will the connection happen, aftter sending first icmp packets?

3seconds?

5seconds?

10second?

is there a official book/document that list this?
Regards!

It depends, in IKEv1 you need to exchange 9 messages (in case you describe it would be 9 packets) , multiple this my latency and some processing/computational overhead. Processing overhead should be minimal unless you're running a loaded system.
