How to change "S" Register value in AS5400

Hello ,

I have using AS5400 and my users disconnected very frequently and the causes of disconnection are Lost of Carrier.

I want to change the S10 register value from default 14 (1.4 second) to some high number like 50 or 70.

I want to know how I do this in SPE modem on As5400.

Hello Farhan,

you can change the modemcap for the Nextport modem and set the S10 value to 50.

I want to change only S10 value to 50 and all other values to default.

Should i use modemcap with edit option or new?

In edit option which modemcap entry should I edit ?

Can u tell me how to do this?

When I change modemcap it is automaticaly applicable to all modems ?
