Install anyconnect secure mobility client 3.1 failed on Mac 10.8.2

Hi guys

I tried to install cisco anyconnect secure mobility client 3.1 on my Mac laptop, the OS version is 10.8.2, Snip20130309_2.png

though above error occured, the client app canbe found at /Applications/Cisco , but I cannot use it to connect to my VPN network.

I used install package : cisco_anyconnect-3.1.02026.pkg, before installing this version of anyconnect I did a fully uninstall

sudo -s
rm -rf /System/Library/StartupItems/CiscoVPN
rm -rf /Library/StartupItems/CiscoVPN
rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/CiscoVPN.kext
rm -rf /Library/Extensions/CiscoVPN.kext
rm -rf /Library/Receipts/vpnclient-kext.pkg
rm -rf /Library/Receipts/vpnclient-startup.pkg
rm -rf /opt/cisco
reboot

I found a workaround, create a admin user to install, switch back to use vpn client.

Dear Rio,

In order to install the client you need to have admin rights, further updates do not require any elevation.
