IOS IPSec certificate configuration example

Hi All,

I am looking for document to show how to configure IPSec based on certificate authentication instead of pre-shared key, but couldn't fine one.

if you can send me the doc or the link, that would be very appreciated.

You don't say whether it's a router of firewall and whether it's a remote access vpn or site-to-site VPN. However here is a link to a lot of IKE/IPSEC config examples for different devices -

Hi Jon,

I am trying to configure Cisco IOS router as VPN server with certificate based authentication for Cisco VPN client. The reason is because VPN client is using aggresive mode when using pre-share key authentication. I have to use certificate authentication, in order to have main mode.
