Cat 3550 and 3560... running IOS
Version 12.1(22)EA4
and
Version 12.2(25r)SEB
respectivly
Am I madd or do these versions of IOS not support SSH

Both those releases support SSHv2.
What problems are you experiencing ?

Been a while since I have played with SSH... but if I remember correctly first I have to use the Crypto command to set up a key...
well "crypto" apparently does not exist in the command list. Unless I am just looking in the wrong place. (global config)

hi this is the command which you need to keyin to enable SSH server enabled..
crypto key generate rsa

It is not which is why I was wondering if the Versions of IOS I listed above supported

Could you post the output of 'sh ver' ? YOu seem to have the right version but the wrong feature set.

I think that Paresh is quite right. Support for SSH is feature set dependent (requires an image with encryption support for DES/3DES) as well as being version dependent.
