Ipad + AnyConnect cannot resolve some host names

Hi, have AnyConnect on Ipad and have issues with ipad not being able to resolve some hostnames.

Eg.  server.domain.net is OK, but newserver.domain.net cannot be resolved by ipad. The error is "server name cannot be found"

If i use laptop and same AnyConnect profile/ASA device i have no issues resolving hostnames.

Any directions what to check?

Hi,

Intermittent resolution of hostname is caused sometimes when we don't have default domain defined in the group-policy of the Anyconnect Users.If it is there then I am afraid you are hitting theses bugs

Split DNS settings in AnyConnect grou policy solved the issue.
