I have used 8.25-59 code for years on all our ASAs since it works and I know it inside out. With have numerous IPSEC tunnels for BtB connections. Now with the forcing of IPV6 on us for statics on the Internet I have to make changes.
I played with the updated 9.x code and only used it a few times and only with IPV4.
Assuming that I only have IPV6 on a few Internet connected sites and still use only IPV4 internally, what changes do I have to make on my firewalls to create these new IPV6 IPSEC tunnels. I primarily will have a few new IPV6 static emote sites that will connect to our existing IPV4 firewalls that have existing statics.
I assume I can use both protocols simultaneously. Generally what are the major command sections that I have to add to an existing setup that previously only used IPV4. (I was really hoping this would be delayed for another year or two!!! THANKS VERIZON!!)
