Hi

You can use dialer watch instead of legacy DDR for dial backup. By using Dialer Watch you are monitoring the routes to regional office instead link status of 2MB & 64kbps connection....

Please refer to below link for more information on configuring Dial backup using Dialer Watch:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122cgcr/fdial_c/fnsprt6/dcdbakdw.htm

Let me know if you have any questions...

Thanx a lot Desai...

I will go through the tutorial & revert back in case i have any doubts...

Can u pls send ur mail id...

Hello,

in your setup, dialer watch would be a good option. Basically, you create a Loopback interface on the regional office router, and the ISDN is triggered when the route to the Loopback interface disappears, something that only happens when BOTH the serial lines are down.

If you post your configuration, I can add the respective dialer watch lines to that configuration.

Hi GP,

Thanx a lot for ur reply...

I am hereby attaching my RO configuration & Branch Configuration.

Note : Branch should only dial when both 2MB & 64 Kbps are down.

Thanx
