L2TPV3 and Multicast

Could someone tell me if  L2TPV3  will support multicast?

Hi Bryan,

According to my research, it is not yet supported.

I have been checking:

Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol Version 3

At this point, I would consider MPLS instead.

Thanks much for the input. I went ahead and set up a lab  with l2tpv3 tunnel between tow c2811 routers , ran MPING utility on the tunneled  hosts  and did get echo/echo replies with no  Multicast configuration needed, so appears to work fine.
