I am looking for VPN client error messages.
The following is one from a 4.6.00.0049 version:
'Sev=Warning/2 CVPND/0xA3400018 Output size mismatch. Actual: 0, Expected: 237. (DRVIFACE:1341)'
Another one from the same version:
'Reason 427: Unknown Error Occured at Peer'.
Both times client (W2K) tries to connect to a 3030 VPN Concentrator running firmware v4.7.
Answers are highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Wolfgang,
That 'Reason 427' indicates that the peer has disconnected the session!
Check out this GUI tool:
Hope this helps and please rate post if it does.

Thanks Jay,
Who is the peer here?
VPN concentrator and VPN client both claim that the peer disconnected the session.
We have no indication that concentrator or client terminate the session. It happens during session set-up.

I do not see a resolution to this issue. I am getting the same message:
Sev=Warning/2 CVPND/0xA3400018
Output size mismatch. Actual: 0, Expected: 237. (DRVIFACE:1341)
AND coincidentally, it's also on Bosch's network!

just wondering if the issue is with one pc or a group of pc. i guess we need to identify where the issue is first. if the issue is with one pc only, then we can focus on the pc and vice versa.

The problem is with one PC. VPN works fine from all of the PCs when hardwired, and all PCs except this one work fine using Wireless,
So, the problem is only with one PC, and only occurs when on the wireless network.

verify the mtu size and the software firewall if there is any, including the window sp2 firewall.
to verify the mtu size, there is a tool bundled with the cisco vpn client namely "set MTU".

In the meantime we found the solutions for both error messages.
Problem with the 'output size mismatch' error message is, that no active internet connection is existing (it's usually combined with error 412).
Error 427 means that user credentials are not correct.
