[MacOS] Wanted to install new AnyConnect Version, deleted the Cisco folder instead of uninstalling

Hi,

What I did...

I used an older version of Cisco anyconnect and wanted to update the application by uninstalling the old version and then newly install via the latest installer. (I chose this progression, becauses it was recommended on the website of my University)

Having read that MacOS uninstalls applications automatically when they're draged and dropped from application-folder into trash, I did excatly that with the Cisco-folder - instead of using the uninstaller as described in the "how to uninstall cisco", which I read of course when it was too late.

In an attempt to reinstall Cisco anyconnect, I noticed that after launching the installer I can't check any of the boxes as shown in the attached screenshot.

Current Status...

Since I deleted the entire Cisco folder, the uninstaller including all files are gone.

I can't restore my MacOS-system, because my latest backup was from a few months ago. *idiot*

My question...

I now wonder how can I clean the registry of my Mac to give Cisco Anyconnect a fresh start?

Thx in advance for dealing with my self-created problem. 🤦🏻‍♂️
